What will be your main functions?
At Exoticca, we take pride in building software that is efficient, clean, testable, and scalable. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming our codebase and helping us scale up as a company. You’ll work on creating high-quality, maintainable frontends, including the main website and back-office tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementations of new features using React and modern JavaScript technologies
- High test coverage with React Testing Library and Cypress.
- Tackling architectural challenges to improve scalability and maintainability as we scale up our products.
- Driving initiatives to improve platform efficiency, time to market, security and expertise.
- Addressing tech debt and evolving the codebase to support multiple teams collaborating effectively while ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participating in continuous discovery habits to collaborate closely with product teams and shape the features we deliver.
- Bringing efficient ideas to the table and delivering solutions you're proud of.
Your new and fresh ideas will always be welcomed to build software that makes our vision a scalable reality. We look for someone who can step up and lead a project, and really like writing code that can be tested. Be proud of your code!
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React.
- Strong experience with React Hooks, Context API, and React Query.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, writing type-safe, clean, and maintainable code.
- A passion for high test coverage and experience with React Testing Library and Cypress.
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Next.js.
- Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture or other scalable design principles.
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining internal design systems.
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to help others while staying focused on delivering results.
- An agile mindset and a passion for solving challenging problems.
- Ability to think critically about architectural improvements and contribute to scaling efforts.
