As an Aerospace Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead the implementation of quality systems in the manufacturing aerospace environment. Investigate detailed production control problems in major processes, methods, standards, specifications, inspection, and testing equipment.
This position is based fully onsite in our Sylmar, CA facility. You will report to the Senior Manufacturing and Design Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
- Investigate quality problems that escape to our customers and are discovered in-house with the goal of leading problem-solving teams to develop corrective actions that prevent the recurrence of the issue
- Develop and implement proactive Quality methodologies to transform the workspace from a reactionary organization to a proactive organization
- Must analyze process problem situations by reviewing facts and creating solutions using operational and engineering guidelines, procedures, regulations, industry standards, and past successes
- Work with QA, QC, Production, and Engineering in discussing and resolving complicated data with all levels of involved department personnel
- Monitor quality performance data used to track progress to goals and to guide root cause corrective action; involve other departments and assist each team with actions to increase performance improvements
- Provide training to individuals whose work affects quality issues in the requirements of the QMS
Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 6+ years working in a manufacturing environment in as a Manufacturing Engineer /Quality Engineer/ Industrial Engineer
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Advanced skills in Excel doing graphs and analysis.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
Salary Range: $100,000 to $140,000 Depending on experience
