Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of test strategies that encompass both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Expand unit test coverage and implement test-driven development practices.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of complex test environments, particularly in cloud settings.
- Drive the testing process, including non-functional testing aspects such as performance at a certification level, and comprehensive security testing.
- Monitor systems, identify security vulnerabilities, and ensure the creation of secure and reliable testing frameworks.
- Participation and contribution to the Inspired Testing Community of Practice.
- Continuous improvement and contribution to the Inspired Testing standards.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expert-level understanding of test automation scripting and maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge in performance testing, capable of scripting and maintaining performance test suites, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Profound expertise in security testing, able to conduct sophisticated SAST and DAST analyses.
- Mastery of cloud concepts, capable of leading initiatives for containerisation and test environment creation.
