Essential duties/responsibilities:
Review each feature’s acceptance criteria, business requirements, and UI/UX designs. Ask questions on these requirements to find missing aspects of the future product and recommend your testing approach based on that set of requirements. Review the developments implementation designs for each feature and recommend suggestions to ensure the features testability. Acts as a primary contributor to all test development within your team. Author high value test plans and cases that go beyond the acceptance criteria, business requirements, or UI/UX designs. Review and approve other team members’ test plans and test cases to ensure they line up with the requirements and Development’s approach to implement. Review and approve other team members automated test cases via PR reviews. Review and gain approval from the rest of the agile team the specific test cases that are to be automated, and which ones will need to be manually tested. Execute all manual and automation testing for that feature area and carefully document defects to prevent churn with development. Author automated test cases within the proper test frameworks. Provide a test coverage assessment (manual and automated) for your team's different project areas. Provide mentorship and oversight to less experienced team members as they perform their own job responsibilities. Fully understand your teams’ agile commitments and release timeline to accurately assess release readiness and vocalize any risks to the delivery schedule. As needed, represent your QA teams' and their charter in cross-team planning events and roadmap discussions. Proactively monitor and communicate critical incident reports in production handed down by our Support Escalations team and work with Product Management, Development and QA Management to see the solution through to completion.

Required Education and Experience:
Combination of education and industry experience amounting to 7 years of experience software testing.
