Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join our Public Sector team. The Sr. Proposal Manager is responsible for day-to-day proposal activities, including managing proposal schedules and deadlines, developing proposal outlines and compliance matrixes, developing proposal content, and monitoring the progress of proposals through the process. Role involves implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires an ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
Responsibilities:

Deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframes

Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and themes
-
Direct the creation and review of proposal outlines that will be used as a key document design and control medium

Assist in analyzing solicitation requirements against proposal outlines to ensure compliance and responsiveness to the customer’s issues and needs
-
Develop and conduct all color reviews, for large proposals, and follow up for internal evaluation of the technical, management, and overall proposal approaches

Write and edit proposals for continuity, logic, organization, messaging to enhance delivery and Iron Mountain differentiators

Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders.

Coach sales teams and subject matter experts in persuasive writing and proposal best practice

Maintain master proposal files, past performance catalogue of state and local opportunities

Ensure that the best practices of proposal development are followed

Provide support to Sales owner throughout the proposal process

Support maintenance of core proposal content including past performance catalogue
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
-
8-10 years of government proposal experience directly producing winning proposals.

Bachelor’s degree in related field from accredited college or university or equivalent experience
-
APMP certification is desired
-
Knowledge of industry proposal best practices in government contracting

Working understanding of the government acquisition process and regulations

Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, Adobe Professional, and preferred experience with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Superior organizational skills, with special attention to detail, and time management skills

Confidence in interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the ability to help transform technical details into concise, responsive and compelling proposals

Demonstrated ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Ability to lead diverse teams and multiple proposal efforts

Strong writing skills
Reasonably expected salary range: $91,100.00 - $121,400.00
