Overview
Consumer Reports will be making some exciting changes and updates to our digital products and we are seeking the help of a Senior Project Manager to make this happen.
Reporting to our Director, Project Management and working closely with our digital and IT teams, you will help assure these projects are delivered on time and on scope by facilitating communication between all stakeholders.

This is a limited duration position, expected to end on or about December 31, 2025. Under our CRFlex program, this is a hybrid position. The successful candidate must reside within 75 miles of our main office location in Yonkers New York or New York City. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

For decades, CR has been testing thousands of products every year, guiding consumers to the best choices while championing marketplace change. Our 5MM + members rely on CR’s independent and expert advice to shape purchasing decisions and create a marketplace that ensures that rapid innovation and consumer safety go hand in hand. Your work will help consumers gain easier and clear access to the information they need.
On a daily basis you will:
- Create comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, resource allocation and risk management strategies to ensure the project stays on schedule and within scope
- Lead the coordination of internal resources and external third-party vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects, maintaining alignment with goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage and lead enterprise and software development projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop mitigation strategies for potential risks to keep projects on track and on time.
- Create a collaborative environment that drives decision making and project success; actively engaging and communicating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies.

- You have the degree. You have earned a BS in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- You have the experience. You have at least 5-years in project management related work.
- You have experience in various methodologies. You are proficient in both agile and traditional project management (Scum, Kanban, PMBOK, PRINCE2) and can tailor your approach to project needs.
- You can manage a budget. You understand budgeting, financial forecasting and resource allocation.
- You are data-driven. You can solve complex issues and create innovative solutions using data driven analysis of a situation.
- You are a collaborator and communicator. You lead with influence and are adept at communicating outcomes in a clear and impactful manner.

Fair Pay & A Just WorkPlace
At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is $160K-$175K. This posted range is reflective of the NY/CA market. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
