CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Product Owner to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

This role is responsible the life cycle of a portfolio of products being designed and implemented for firm use. Responsible for the design and testing process to ensure that the product functions appropriately and meets the needs of the firm and end-users. Collaborates and communicates cross-functionally between internal stakeholders and product designers to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Product Owner role:

• Identify and define product features and requirements that align with business goals and customer needs.

• Make decisions regarding product features, functionality, and user experience.

• Develop and adapt the product vision, writing new user stories, and specifying acceptance of each user story.

• Participates in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.

• Monitor and evaluate product performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.

• Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on-time.

• Clearly communicate the product vision and goals to the development team for implementation.

• Communicate product roadmap, priorities, and status to project team, stakeholders, and firm leaders, while maintaining strong relationships with product stakeholders and partners.

• Provide training to junior members of the team and act as a point of escalation for complex questions and issues.

• May act as Peer Advisor and/or Career Coach to assist other family members in growing their inspired careers.

What you will need:

  • 3 years of relevant experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Technical Competencies:

Basic understanding of IT development and technical concepts

Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and design thinking.

Familiarity with Scrum

Familiarity with Agile
