Role Summary
The US Intermediaries (USI) Client Experience team at T. Rowe Price is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the team responsible for the Advisor digital experience. The Senior Product Owner, USI Client Experience is responsible for creating compelling client experiences designed to drive profitable actions. In this capacity, the incumbent identifies or applies trends in digital and client behavior. The role may provide inputs and recommendations for investment product strategy as well as product development, services, and digital client experience. The Senior Product Owner works closely with senior business leaders, Product & Marketing, and Technology partners to understand client needs and translate them into digital strategies that drive engagement, deepen relationships with the firm, increase retention, increase satisfaction and loyalty, and generate net new flows.
Responsibilities
Experience discovery and strategy:
- Document and analyze the current state of the customer experience. Identify business problems and opportunities to drive business value via use cases and user journeys.
- Conceives, develops, and implements digital product solutions, or services aimed to improve the investment product client experience for US Advisors.
- Independently leads initiatives in support of the business vision by developing the business case, aligning resources, developing communication plans.
Experience design:
- Lead stakeholders, SMEs, creative resources, and activation partners to document desired customer experiences.
- Consider cross-channel interactions and prioritize competing experiences.
- Provide creative resources with template specifications and technical requirements to development teams.
Experience delivery:
- Manages complex development projects from inception through completion and helps support USI team efforts to socialize data-driven recommendations and gain organizational commitment to ensure effective resource alignment.
- Adhere to Agile best practices and utilize tools and technology for experience delivery.
- Ensures annual legal and compliance reviews and adjust experiences as necessary due to regulatory changes.
Experience measurement:
- Coordinate with data measurement teams to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant experience metrics.
- Analyze performance, provide reports, and identify observations to optimize performance or generate new experiences.
- Ensure comprehensive tracking through automated reports and create data visualizations as needed.
People Leader and Mentor:
- Manage onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of team members.
- Recognize associates as appropriate and provide feedback in support of development goals.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional Agile team when serving in a product owner capacity.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 8+ years of total relevant work experience.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated success leading a productive team of direct reports.
- Experience or familiarity with Adobe marketing technology or similar for content management, analytics, and/or digital marketing.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional projects/workstreams.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively connect with all levels of the organization.
- Background in financial services firm or other similarly regulated industry.
- Strong analytical skillset and ability to source and analyze data from databases.
- Agile certifications or familiarity with principles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
Base Salary Ranges

$108,000.00 - $184,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$119,000.00 - $203,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$135,000.00 - $230,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
