The Role:

Halcyon’s goal is to redefine what security products can deliver, offering an advanced anti-ransomware solution that protects organizations from evolving threats. To support this, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to play a critical role in shaping and expanding the Halcyon anti-ransomware platform.

As a Senior Product Manager at Halcyon, you will be responsible for driving key product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of the product roadmap. You will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to build solutions that safeguard commercial and enterprise customers against ransomware attacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Execution: Contribute to the development of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Halcyon’s mission and market needs.

  • Roadmap Ownership: Define and manage feature prioritization, balancing customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Requirements Definition: Gather and translate customer and business requirements into clear use cases, user stories, and product specifications.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Halcyon founders, engineering, support, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product growth, execution, and leadership.

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, prospects, and industry analysts to gather valuable insights that enhances the product value.

  • Business and Technical Acumen: Bridge customer business requirements with emerging threat landscape trends, translating business goals and customer needs into actionable use cases, user stories, and product requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise software

  • Strong Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate product value, strategy, and technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

  • Customer-Centric: Passion for solving customer problems, with direct experience in customer engagement and feedback loops

  • Technical Background: Strong technical background with a proven track record of empowering engineering teams to drive successful product development

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to influence product vision cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product success

  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven decision-making skills, with experience analyzing user behavior, competitive intelligence, and market trends

  • Agility & Execution: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

  • Endpoint Security Knowledge: Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) products, demonstrating understanding of the endpoint security landscape

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

Bonus Target: 20%

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
