About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our product team and own the full product lifecycle in a key area of our product suite. You will report to the Group Product Manager.
You should be passionate about product management, with the skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and leverage your technical background to define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the full product lifecycle from initiation to post-launch.
- Be part of a product team working across all of Forter’s product lines.
- Drive execution excellence by managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions through each phase and delivering high-quality products on time.
- Conduct discovery sessions and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with R&D throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define product KPIs, monitor product/feature success, and adjust your plans based on those KPIs.
- Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales to drive product adoption.
- Work with some of the world’s biggest brands at various stages of the product development process.
- Collaborate with Forter stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that support sustainable growth and create impact.
- Act as the voice of our users across the organization.
What you'll need:
- Experience with technical products — a must
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven ability to specify and deliver quality products
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful
- Excellent collaboration, consensus-building, and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to process large amounts of inconsistent information and drive forward decisions based on objective data
- Experience working with various analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Mixpanel, Heap)
- Unparalleled attention to detail (In your application, please include the name of your favorite TV show.)
- Strong outbound communication skills—able to connect and communicate directly with business users from world-leading companies
- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
It would be very cool if you have:
- Background in design
- Experience working with data visualization-heavy products
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across the organization
- Experience working with online retail customers
