Job Summary:
The senior Product Manager holds the responsibility for designing, developing, and overseeing activities related to a specific product or a group of products. This oversight encompasses everything from defining the product and planning its development to production and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, the Product Manager is tasked with crafting the product roadmap necessary to achieve bookings, client NPS, and gross margin targets associated with their component.
To facilitate organic growth, the product manager collaborates with internal stakeholders, clients, and prospects to identify new product capability requirements. They maintain close collaboration with their development teams to ensure the successful creation and introduction of these new capabilities to the market. Furthermore, the Product Manager takes charge of testing and implementing these fresh features with clients and actively promotes future growth to a broader audience of Clearwater clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:

Team Span, responsible for handling a team of 8-15 Developers.

Owns a product in the Clearwater system.

Prioritizes and manages the backlog for their product.

Defines requirements for feature development with occasional support from their lead.

Collaborates with their development team on the design and building of features.

Defines the product roadmap for their product.

Communicates regularly with stakeholders about the product roadmap and upon release of functionality.

Actively speaks with clients about their component’s use case and future needs.

Measures success of new feature releases.

Act as a subject manager expert in alternative investments.

Provides expertise and support to the Sales team on their product.

Providing leadership and expertise to our ever-growing workforce.

Leads team with occasional guidance and training from division lead.

Participates in at least one large-scale effort aimed at promoting employee retention or employee engagement.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or a related field.

4+ years professional experience in Investment Management, Operations, or Accounting.

Experience writing business requirements for a financial technology product or service.

Prior experience preparing and delivering presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Experience working with Alternative Investments such as Private Equity, Limited Partnerships, Mortgage Loans, Bank Loans, or Derivatives.
