You’ll work with SEO managers to identify opportunities, designers to create new features; engineers to ship them, and analysts to measure their impact. • Initiate and conduct user research - interviews, surveys, or user tests - to understand how well the features you own are working, and what needs to be improved.

  • Conduct competitive research to understand how others solve similar problems or build similar features. You’ll draw on inspiration from other sites and apps for how to build great software.

  • Independently write requirements to outline how new features will work and instructions for developers on building them.

  • Rally and serve as a leader for cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, marketers, and analysts to ship world-class products.

  • Measure and track key features or business metrics.

  • Communicate clearly and directly about your features and projects with your core engineering team as well as the broader organization. You excel in crafting concise messages about what matters most. Your immediate team can always turn to you for answers on requirements and documents you have written as well as consult you on the issues that arise

  • You can respond to customer feedback about the features you own

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to newer and more junior members of the team as well as be a resource for your peers.

  • Supervision of Others: Has no direct supervision of employees.
