The Senior Product Manager, Digital Signage will drive the future of our digital signage hardware product portfolio by setting a vision ensuring alignment with our strategic goals for the Connected Restaurant Experience of the Future whilst leading the lifecycle management of our digital signage hardware. This role is crucial for driving innovation and market leadership in the QSR space, ensuring that our hardware solutions integrate seamlessly with software and content delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

· Set High-Level Vision: Establish and communicate the long-term vision for all digital signage hardware products, aligning with the company's strategic goals.

· Customer Expertise: Maintain deep expertise in customer activities within the hardware and display space technology to drive product relevance and innovation.

· Competitive Insight: Continuously monitor competitors and market trends to refine product positioning and strategy.

· Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, driving continuous improvements based on performance data and feedback.

· Market Oversight: Manage the hardware product fleet, focusing on series market performance and alignment with commercial outcomes.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, engineers, and the supply chain team to ensure alignment across products and technical feasibility

· Technical and Commercial Balance: Combine technical competency with an understanding of cost structures and customer investment plans to suggest commercially viable new products.

· Market Research and VOC: Engage in market research and voice of the customer (VOC) initiatives to inform big-picture decisions.

· Strategic Fit: Ensure hardware products align with the overarching vision of how they fit into the restaurant industry's future.

· Innovation and Future Planning: Balance immediate needs with future product developments, suggesting innovative solutions that drive long-term success.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

· 7 years’ experience in relevant field

· Education in Hardware, Product Management or Technology

· Technical background in product management – Preference for digital signage and/or menu board experience 

· Microsoft Office Proficient 

· Atlassian basic understanding

 

Success Factors:

Vision Alignment:

· Metric: % of products meeting strategic goals.

· Target: 90% alignment rate.

Customer Expertise:

· Metric: Customer satisfaction scores and NPS.

· Target: NPS of 8 or higher.

Competitive Positioning:

· Metric: Market share and competitive analysis.

· Target: 5% annual market share increase.

Collaborative Projects:

· Metric: % of cross-functional projects completed on time.

· Target: 95% on-time completion.

Market and VOC Impact:

· Metric: Major product improvements from market research and VOC.

· Target: 3 significant improvements per year

· Feedback from other HW product mangers

 

Capabilities:

· Project management skills

· Stakeholder management – Int Mid, Int Snr, Customer

· Strong communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders

· Time management skillset

· Sound technical knowledge of products & systems

· Strategic mindset – looking beyond direct requests
