Position Overview 

Reporting to the VP of Product and Technology, the Senior Product Engineer - AI will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced AI technologies, particularly LLMs, to enhance our GRC platform. This role combines deep expertise in AI, with a specific focus on recent LLM advancements, and strong software engineering skills. This is a development-heavy role. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop LLM-powered features for intelligent artifact analysis, and GRC context in Typescript and Node.js
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems 
  • Implement and optimize large language models including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and efficient deployment strategies
  • Collaborate with product managers to identify opportunities for AI and LLM integration that align with user needs and business goals
  • Stay at the forefront of AI and LLM advancements, recommending and implementing new techniques to enhance the product
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by providing insights on AI and LLM capabilities and their potential applications in GRC
  • Mentor team members on AI and LLM best practices and foster a culture of innovation in AI-driven product development
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines for AI model training and inference 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong, recent experience with Large Language Models
  • Demonstrated experience in LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deploying language models in production environments
  • Proficiency in Typescript or Javascript, especially Node.js
  • Familiarity with cloud-based LLM platforms and serverless architectures for model deployment
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and API development
  • Experience with LEAN development methodologies and product development processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical possibilities with product requirements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in or knowledge of GRC, cybersecurity, or related fields is a plus
