The Position:
This role will report to our Head of Product Design. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our product team and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform. As a Senior Product Designer at Placements.io, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that deliver impactful solutions for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Product Design: Own the design process for new features and product initiatives, from initial concept through to high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and implementation.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility.
- User-Centered Design: Advocate for and prioritize the needs of our users, conducting user research and usability testing to drive decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
- Design System Ownership: Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all of our products and platforms.
- Data-Driven Design: Leverage data and user feedback to validate design decisions and refine products post-launch for ongoing improvement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure design solutions align with and elevate the Placements.io brand, creating polished, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across web.
- User Research: Strong experience in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams to drive design decisions and deliver high-quality, user-friendly products.
- Problem-Solving: A strong problem solver with the ability to break down complex problems and design innovative, intuitive solutions.
- Design System Experience: Experience in creating and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design work and articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: Experience in Ad Tech space is a plus.

Compensation:
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected base salary range for this role in the selected city:
Seattle, WA - $160,000 - $185,000 USD
The base salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
