What this Job Entails:
- Responsible for leading significant process improvement projects and initiatives for individual programs. Uses tools from Six Sigma, LEAN, Project Management and Change Management to consult with the business and executive management to develop strategic recommendations to improve Program-wide processes at an enterprise level.
- This position manages and executes Process Re-engineering projects impacting individual programs to improve efficiency, reduce expenses and provide improved service to customers.
- Direct development of continuous improvement initiatives, generally of less complexity, consult with, and influence internal contacts, creating value and buy-in as the lead process improvement transformation partner.
- Lead process improvement initiatives through the use of measurements, analysis and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at viable solutions and best practices.
- Prepare recommendations for presentation to senior management for the prioritization and execution of process re-engineering efforts.
- Identify and document opportunities for process automation (e.g. robotics); assist in the development of business requirements.
- May have coaching and mentoring responsibilities of process analysts.
- Responsible for measuring and monitoring organizational improvement.
- Provide direction, leadership, and resources to ensure successful implementation of Process Re-engineering efforts. Oversee development of plans, process impact and redesign, turnover to delivery and measurement of initiatives related to approved programs.
- Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk standards, policies and controls. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and equity.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external stakeholders as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to properly deconstruct the problem and determine viable solution options using data as a guide
- Experience handling multiple tasks and working under time constraints in support of various assignments
- Business applications knowledge including MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Google -Suite Doc, Sheets, Slides
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, or business discipline
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience with project and work management software including Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, etc)
- Certified Six Sigma or Lean Certified

- Ability to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues
