We do this by focusing on 4 key pillars: Supporting the requirements of our client facing teams, seeking out fresh opportunities to enhance and evolve our product offering, managing the end-to-end contractual process with all key strategic partners, and providing effective partnership & collaborator management both internally and externally.
We’re looking for an agile and confident self-starter with experience in mobile adtech, performance marketing, mobile gaming and strategic partnerships, with an established understanding of the intersection between mobile and CTV. You will harness strong relationships with mobile ad networks, MMP’s, gaming publishers and data & measurement providers.
This is a hybrid role that blends strategic partnership acquisition with meticulous performance management. Ideal candidate with business insight, analytics, and negotiation skills plays key role in growing Samsung’s mobile advertising ecosystem.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard best-in-class mobile advertising partners (networks, DSPs, affiliates, publishers, MMP’s, 3P data providers, measurement solutions and other key partners).

Own deal negotiations with strategic advertising partners, across various markets, from start-to-finish, including commercial terms, technical integrations, and legal agreements.

Drive pipeline development of demand providers in all key European markets as well as develop partnership frameworks, inform complex legal and financial structuring issues, and handle ongoing partner management.

Analyse partner performance using data-driven insights and optimise performance to meet key business critical metrics.

Develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships with partners to improve the value of collaborations.

Work cross-functionally with internal collaborators across business development, product, product marketing, legal, privacy, sales and other areas of the organisation (including Samsung HQ in Suwon) to develop and implement business strategy.

Build effective relationships with internal legal and privacy teams to create successful deal frameworks that enable you to handle and implement contractual processes in a timely manner.

Identify key issues and blockers in the deal pathway – technical, legal, commercial and behavioural, and think creatively and practically to help resolve them.

Work closely with the regional and global Ads Product Leads and Product Marketing teams to devise successful go-to-market plans for major mobile ad product launches in Europe in 2025 and beyond.

Build and maintain senior relationships at leading and emerging ad tech companies across CTV & mobile.

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the mobile advertising landscape.

Create, identify, and implement new growth opportunities through creative partnership deals to drive client solutions.

Drive thought leadership on the evolving market and advocate across the organisation on behalf of partners and opportunities to influence platform road map and business execution.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

BA/BS required, MBA preferred but not required

Substantial relevant experience working in a mobile business development or partner management capacity in the mobile adtech ecosystem.

Proactive business mentality, driving business opportunities through to completion.

Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and driving central initiatives independently.

Establishing balanced, revenue generating commercial partnerships that improve the Samsung Ads product.

Strong partner relationships at leading mobile adtech businesses.

Strong commercial and legal negotiation skills that use analytical and financial modelling to drive successful outcomes for Samsung.

Experience with running sophisticated data partnership deals and a strong technical understanding of mobile measurement solutions and data clean room environments.

Extensive experience developing outreach strategies and building partner relationships in the media and adtech ecosystem.

Experience managing revenue targets and overachieving on business objectives.

Diagnostic approach, with ability to process data rapidly to come to the right business conclusions that drive revenue.

Experience leading and implementing sophisticated, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams.

Ability to simplify and clearly articulate complex and technical product solutions effectively.

Strong problem solving skills such as prioritization, critical thinking and hypothesis development.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
What does success look like?
Success in this role will be determined by assessing the candidates ability to achieve three key requirements:
Identifying the right strategic partnerships that will enhance Samsung’s mobile offering. Being able to effectively articulate the value and rationale behind which partners to onboard will be key to determining the candidates ability to assess the business needs, show a self-starting initiative, and align their strategic efforts towards growing mobile revenue.
Owning the commercial/contract negotiation process and showing your ability to obtain favourable terms on all partnership types will determine your aptitude in influencing partners to proceed on our terms, that will inturn speed up the delivery of the required partnership.
Increasing mobile ad revenue for current & future mobile products whilst ensuring all other business objectives are adhered to. Showcasing an ability to continously hit revenue and non-revenue targets will be a strong determining factor towards success.
In addition to the three key requirements, the candidate should also follow these guidelines to ensure a quick start and achieve success.:

Immerse themselves into learning about the Samsung Ads business, our products and the key needs and challenges of our mobile business. They should then apply this learning to develop a strategic partnership frameworks within the first three months.

You will be assessed on your ability to collaborate and build relationships with the wider ESBO teams. Quickly understanding their position within the business and building strong internal relationships to enhance stakeholder management.
