Job Description
We are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our Operations teams’ efforts.
This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the local market while serving as the primary liaison with the regional Operations teams.
Working closely with the Senior Director of Operations in Greece, the Senior Operations Manager will drive key initiatives, foster collaboration, and ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional services to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
This position is critical in shaping the operational strategy, optimizing processes, and building a high-performance culture that aligns with Foody’s vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Act as the key liaison with regional Operations teams to ensure alignment and consistency in operational execution.
Operational Excellence

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize workflows, streamline processes, and introduce tools to drive efficiency without compromising service quality.

Champion initiatives to improve the customer journey, enhance partner operations, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Lead continuous improvement projects leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Product, and Finance, to ensure operational strategies align with company objectives.

Partner with the regional Sr. Director of Operations and other senior leaders to share insights, address challenges, and ensure cohesive execution of strategic goals.
Performance Management

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, ensuring accountability and consistent achievement of targets.

Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
Team Development

Mentor, develop, and retain high-performing teams across areas such as Customer Care, Partner Operations, Customer Experience, and Operations Excellence.

Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment that drives employee engagement and growth.
Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the online delivery, e-commerce, or technology sectors.

Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of operational processes, customer experience optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and regions.

Proficiency in performance metrics analysis and reporting tools.

Fluency in English & Greek language is required
