Summary

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team and take a lead role in architecting, managing, and optimizing our network infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you have extensive experience with Juniper EVPN-VXLAN, MC-LAG (or similar technologies), deep knowledge of routing, firewalls, and Kubernetes networking, we want to hear from you!

Key Requirements:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Work extensively with EVPN-VXLAN to architect overlay networks, supporting a large-scale distributed environment.
  • Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, IPSec, and ICCP, optimizing network performance across global infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar) to enforce security policies and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the other infrastructure teams to integrate network solutions, providing reliable networking across containerized applications.
  • Write and maintain scripts for network automation and orchestration using languages such as Python, Bash, or Ansible.
  • Troubleshoot network-related incidents at all levels, including Kubernetes overlay networking, data center evpn fabric and routing issues..
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Build and monitor network performance and improve observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Juniper EVPN or VXLAN, routing, and firewalls.
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with firewall configuration and network security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes networking and containerized environments (kube-router, metalLB, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or Ansible).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in troubleshooting complex network issues.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Occasional travel to global data centers may be needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on Linux administration experience using standard tools like grep, awk, sed, and tcpdump.
  • Experience working on Anycast and cloud-based MPLS/SD-WAN solutions. 
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes components and VXLAN overlay networks.
  • Experience working with Juniper QFX series switches.
