What you will do:
- Design the European Logistics Network: Lead the strategic setup of our European logistics network, managing over 100 partners, including warehouses and carriers, to create a scalable network aligned with business goals.
- Optimize Network and Scenario Planning: Continuously improve our distribution network through data-driven analysis and scenario planning, ensuring resilience, cost-effectiveness, and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Enhance Supply Chain Flow and Performance: Ensure efficient goods flow by optimizing inventory, reducing lead times, and refining transportation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust the network as needed, collaborating with teams to drive operational improvements.
- Evaluate and Lead Partner Assessments: Regularly assess logistics partners on performance and cost-efficiency. Lead annual evaluations, align on priorities, and support tenders to maintain a high-performing network.
- Support Product Launches and Plan Network Expansion: Ensure the supply chain supports new product launches, coordinating logistics and managing inventory. Use optimization models to guide decisions on opening, closing, or investing in locations for maximum efficiency.
Who we're looking for:
- Experienced Network Designer: 5+ years in supply chain and logistics with a focus on network design and optimization. Proven track record in implementing large-scale distribution networks. Minimum a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field. Certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Analytical and Strategic: Strong in data analysis and scenario planning, using tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Experience with optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, JDA) is required. Skilled at balancing cost, service levels, and efficiency.
- Supply Chain Expert: Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, including inventory management and logistics. Experienced in streamlining operations and improving goods flow.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent at collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners. Clear and persuasive in conveying complex ideas.
- Project Management: Experience leading projects, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Organized and detail oriented.
