TITLE: Senior Middleware Administrator
LOCATION: Town and Country, MO
JOB SUMMARY: Support multiple application teams in deploying and troubleshooting calls. Assist on the proof of concepts and automation processes. Collaborate with vendors to provide solutions to the application teams. Assist in the troubleshooting of calls during outages. Maintain payment card industry standards. Offer different cloud solutions to application teams for their application. Engage in root cause analysis as required. Provide recommendations following root case analysis to corresponding application teams. Deliver cluster upgrades and WebLogic patching to address security issues. Train junior resources who are new to the team. Document newly launched applications. Service tuning alerts to better monitor the system. Establish automation jobs to clean disk space on servers. Actively monitor all applications supported using AppDynamics, Splunk, and Datadog. Utilize Weblogic and Websphere to install, deploy, and troubleshoot application-level issues. Utilize Tomcat to install, deploy, and troubleshoot application-level issues. Deploy applications using Kubernetes or CAAS. Monitor applications using Datadog, AppDynamics and Splunk. Track service tickets utilizing Cherwell.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6 years of experience utilizing Weblogic and Websphere to install, deploy and troubleshoot application-level issues; and utilizing Tomcat to install, deploy and troubleshoot application-level issues. 3 years of experience deploying applications using Kubernetes or CAAS; monitoring applications using Datadog, AppDynamics and Splunk; and tracking service tickets utilizing Cherwell. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
