About the team:

We are a highly productive global marketing program management team with a primary objective to own marketing programs end-to-end with the outcome of being accountable and supporting our pet parent and pet sitters goals and experiences.


The Program Management team is responsible for supporting and/or project managing a portfolio of marketing and creative initiatives with a continued focus on process efficiency and prioritizing marketing team resources against high-impact strategic priorities.


Who we’re looking for:

Rover is seeking a Marketing Program Manager to drive the successful execution of our marketing initiatives, helping to ensure we meet our annual business goals with seamless coordination and efficiency. You will focus on the execution of broad marketing programs by managing timelines, resources, and dependencies. They will work closely with the Creative, Performance Marketing, Content Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing & Trust & Safety and Product teams to understand their programs that need support, and help deliver quality and on time through effective communications, risk management, and day-to-day oversight of projects.


As part of the role, you aren't intimidated by juggling multiple projects and have sharp attention to detail; nothing slips through the cracks on your watch. You are an adept problem solver and cross-functional communicator. You enjoy working with high-energy, goal-oriented individuals and are constantly seeking opportunities to learn and hone your marketing skills.


This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Program Management

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with marketing stakeholders, channel owners, brand and product management to understand their strategies, roadmaps, and KPIs.
  • Create annual marketing program roadmap & detailed project plans
  • Lead timely discovery sessions to ensure Marketing team capacity and workflows are optimized to deliver against the highest-priority initiatives
  • Ensure comprehension of project objectives, audience, and key messages across working teams
  • Manage end-to-end marketing program execution to ensure programs are deployed on time
  • Removes roadblocks and optimizes workflows to meet or exceed operational goals
  • Manages marketing programs end-end workflows, prioritizing and directing day-to-day tasks to ensure our partners are delivering against SLAs
  • Builds a culture of continuous improvement of process best practices, identifying and solving gaps and emerging needs 
  • Builds business cases for additional investment of higher scope, complexity, and impact.
  • Fearless communication when programs are blocked and proactively proposes solutions to mitigate impacts and reduce risk going forward.
  • Drives alignment within our Marketing teams to narrate the impact of work on broader business outcomes and provide concise, actionable feedback 
  • Routinely assesses progress against strategic initiatives across stakeholder teams and partners to
  • Document progress against program or performance parameters and report status to leadership and stakeholders
  • Produces monthly partnership recaps, including, key learnings, and progress against key strategic initiatives and/or project KPIs

Your Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Program Management experience with a concentration in operational management.
  • Experience in creating Marketing Operational roadmaps that are clear and can be communicated easily to leadership
  • Track record of implementing successful scalability and efficiency plans that have helped increase business goals.
  • Experience using Jira and other project management tools
  • Can effectively connect projects and campaigns together to provide strategic input on learnings and the way forward
  • Ability to organize and prioritize concurrent projects, find innovative ways to resolve problems, and move projects forward.
  • Strategic competence and partnership skills are a must.
  • Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing resource efficiency and marketing campaigns.
  • Effective communication skills across the organization. Excellent at building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keeping up to date on current marketing trends and standard processes.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:

  • In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $99,485-$117,902. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
  • The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
