Job Title:: Finance Business Partner
Location:: Jeddah city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Job Summary::
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Leader to head the finance operations of a newly established subsidiary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will act as a key business partner to the local management team, overseeing all financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. The Finance Leader will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations while aligning financial strategies with the parent company’s goals. The role requires close collaboration with the corporate finance team in California, ensuring accurate reporting of key financial metrics, performance indicators, and strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the subsidiary.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights for decision-making.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic partner to the local executive team, driving financial performance and supporting business growth.
- Advise on financial risks and opportunities, contributing to strategic initiatives and investments in the region.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Expert knowledge in Local content & Government procurement Authority audits and compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial statements and KPIs to the corporate finance team in California.
- Maintain full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Performance Management:
- Monitor financial performance and implement processes to track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the subsidiary's operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across all financial functions.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure the subsidiary maintains financial health.
- Oversee treasury functions, ensuring liquidity management and cash forecasting align with corporate policies.
Systems & Processes:
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes that ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Drive improvements in financial systems to support scalability as the subsidiary grows.
Key KPIs to be Managed:
- Revenue Growth and Profitability
- EBITDA and Margin Analysis
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Management
- Working Capital (Receivables, Payables, Inventory)
- Cash Flow Projections and Liquidity
- Budget Variance Analysis
- Local Compliance and Tax Reporting Accuracy
- Return on Investment (ROI) for Local Projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) or professional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in Sales Finance, FP&A, and Treasury roles, preferably within multinational organizations with manufacturing industry experience .
- Must be Senior Finance Manager or above and able to work independently with local sales and functions.”
- Experience working in or with operations in the Middle East, particularly in KSA, is highly desirable.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both local and international teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
