Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee IT finances globally, including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals for cost centers, projects, fees, and services.
  • Provide accurate and consolidated monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Drive standard IT finance processes, tools, and reporting across local cost centers.
  • Manage global license and asset management to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Demand & Portfolio Management
  • Lead the Powertrain Global Demand Council and regional/local demand steering.
  • Manage IT portfolio aligned with strategy, roadmaps, resources, and budgets.
  • Standardize Demand, Portfolio, and Project Management processes, tools, templates, and reporting.
  • Vendor & Contract Management
  • Facilitate global IT vendor management, including contract administration, performance evaluation, and collaboration with Magna Global IT and Legal.
  • Oversee purchase order requisitions and vendor payments across all organizational layers.
  • Shared Service Center (SSC) Optimization
  • Establish and optimize a cost-effective Shared Service Center in target countries.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives for IT operations efficiency.
  • People Development & Resource Management
  • Oversee IT people development and hold teams accountable for progress on performance, development, and training (PD&T).
  • Organize comprehensive training programs (IT Academy, Pluralsight, Power BI, etc.).
  • Recruit, develop, and manage resources within the Performance & Effectiveness Team.
  • Governance, KPIs, and Performance Tracking
  • Deliver effective governance across IT finance, HR, vendor management, and project management.
  • Define and track KPIs and SLAs for internal and external IT services.
  • Standardize monthly performance reporting and ensure process alignment across the IT function.
  • Change & Communications Management
  • Lead organizational change management (OCM), including cultural shifts, structured communication, and process adoption.
  • Coordinate IT communication efforts through Intranet, email, surveys, and other platforms.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of changes across IT teams and stakeholders.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education and Professional Experience
    • University degree in business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems required.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the industry.
  • Business and Strategic Acumen
    • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals, objectives, and core business processes.
    • Proven ability to leverage technology strategically to drive business growth and optimization.
    • Strong ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to adopt standards and drive optimization.
  • Program and Project Management
    • Demonstrated program management skills, including planning, control, and execution processes.
    • Understanding of key IT concepts such as application development and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Ability to communicate detailed and advanced business solutions effectively.
    • Skilled at communicating up and down the management chain with the right level of focus and detail.
    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

    • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Logical, efficient, and detail-oriented approach to problem resolution.
