Job Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting requirements to shareholders, regulatory bodies and corporate office. Coordinate the annual examination with external auditors.
  • Oversee cost-effective internal controls, payroll-related accounting and filings, year-end corporate tax return data and other related corporate requirements.
  • Responsible for managing the Accounting Department.
  • Development, implement and maintain systems and procedures for accurate and timely management reporting.
  • Manage ongoing financial forecasts. Prepare multi-year business plans and projections.
  • Prepare and analyze regular reporting against budget.
  • Oversee the financial information systems (i.e. general ledger, sub-ledgers, job costing, and other related systems).
  • Maintain WBS structure to ensure proper collection of costs.
  • Provide the program teams with reporting of actual costs incurred to date by project compared to Business Plans and Forecasts.
  • Approve POs to ensure properly accounted for and charged to appropriate job number (if applicable).
  • Authorities as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000.
  • Maintain Good Housekeeping of the area.
  • Ensure adherence to company, departmental and health and safety systems and policies to meet legislative requirements.
  • Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).
  • Supports the requirements as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000 (Quality Management System).
  • Ensure employees work in the manner consistent with the organizations established objectives and targets utilizing protective equipment, devices, measures, and procedures as promulgated by state and federal regulations. Establish clear goals for workplace health and safety. Complete safety talks, safety meetings, and required training occur, as defined.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education

  • Bachelor's degree (or bachelor's equivalency) in Accounting or Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in accounting to include managing company financial summaries such as month-end,
  • year-end and operation reviews, managing the year-end auditing process, developing business plans, developing cost
  • containment systems, researching and analyzing cost containment/profit improvement systems, and analyzing,
  • recommending and managing financial information systems.
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience.
  • Broad knowledge and application of modern quantitative and qualitative financial analysis techniques such as cash flow,
  • new present value return of assets/investments, differential analysis, depreciation, working capital and/or investments.
  • Must be familiar with cost accounting methods relating to OEM applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, the ability to deal effectively with others and manage a team.
