We’re seeking a skilled Senior Manager of Content Marketing with project management expertise and an interest in AI-led innovation to drive scalability and efficiency in our content production efforts. In this role, you’ll develop and execute our SEO-focused content strategy, harnessing AI tools to optimize and expand our footprint across multiple languages on a global scale. The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, and has a proven track record of creating engaging content at scale. Responsibilities:

 

Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for Peerspace.com's editorial pages to improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and drive user engagement

Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords and topics for editorial content creation and optimization

Coordinate with external content creators or agencies to scale content output, providing clear direction, feedback, and quality standards

Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures, to enhance search visibility

Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies to build quality backlinks and enhance domain authority

Set up and monitor content performance metrics, using platforms like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and AI-powered analytics to extract insights and continuously refine content and SEO strategies

Regularly report on key SEO metrics and performance indicators in SEO review meetings, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies

Audit existing content workflows and make recommendations for AI integration to enhance content production, personalization, and automation

Create and optimize editorial content using AI-powered tools to streamline ideation, writing, and editing processes, ensuring efficient scalability without compromising quality

Stay informed on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO, AI, and content marketing; proactively identify opportunities to adjust our SEO and content strategies in response to developments like Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE)

Experiment with emerging AI tools to enhance the content creation process, including areas like voice, style, sentiment, and personalized content recommendations

Conduct regular content audits to ensure all published materials remain relevant, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO, recommending and implementing refreshes as needed

Own the content calendar, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely, impactful content releases across all relevant channels

 

Qualifications:

 

5+ years in an SEO content marketing position

Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies that drive significant organic traffic growth

Strong understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors

Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar

Familiarity and strong interest in AI technologies and their potential applications to content marketing and SEO

Comfortable working with various, cross-functional, internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget

Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making

Experience with Wordpress or similar content management systems

Strong project manager, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly coachable and genuine ability to be a team player

Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree or certifications in SEO or Digital Marketing is a plus

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $150,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
