Your mission
The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance serves as a key strategic partner to the VP, Head of Finance, and Chief Commercial Officer, playing a critical role in aligning financial strategy with commercial execution. This role is responsible for implementing financial best practices, optimizing trade investments, and delivering key insights that drive profitable growth.
As the liaison between Finance and Commercial teams, this position oversees Gross-to-Net (GtN) management, pricing validation, forecasting, and trade investment planning, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate has expertise in commercial finance, financial planning, and revenue management, with a strong background in U.S. retail channels (Target & Amazon preferred).

Essential Functions:
Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment
- Drive alignment across the organization on commercial strategy planning and execution.
- Provide key financial insights to Commercial, Finance, the CEO, and other departments to optimize commercial plans and conditions.
- Act as a strategic link between Commercial and Finance for forecasting and planning, both internally and with retailers.
- Serve as a key partner in the Forecasting Process, leading the deployment and optimization of financial forecasting tools.
- Contribute to cross-functional processes, including commercial plans, marketing initiatives, product launches, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
Financial Planning & Gross-to-Net (GtN) Management
- Lead Gross-to-Net (GtN) planning and analysis, tracking deduction trends and developing action plans to optimize trade investments.
- Oversee pricing, commercial conditions, and promotional validation, ensuring financial viability and adherence to corporate policies.
- Assess ROI on trade investments, promotions, and retailer activities, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Manage trade investment allocation, influencing decision-making on sales growth and cost optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Act as a key financial partner to Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring smooth execution of financial and commercial strategies.
- Ensure corporate pricing and trade investment policies are applied consistently and effectively.
- Support retail negotiations and financial planning, ensuring strategic alignment with key accounts.
- Work closely with Legal, Tax, and Compliance teams to maintain adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance.
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
- Lead implementation and enhancement of commercial forecasting tools to support financial planning accuracy.
- Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) and automation tools to drive efficiency in financial tracking and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance budget control, financial transparency, and decision-making capabilities.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Finance & Commercial roles, preferably within a Commercial Finance department.
- Strong knowledge of budget management, financial analysis, trade investments, and pricing strategies.
- Proven experience as a Business Partner, FP&A, or Commercial Finance leader in an international environment.
- Track record of success in key finance roles within a large multinational company.
- Expertise in U.S. National Accounts is required (Amazon, Target, Ulta, CVS, Walgreens).
- Experience with Target & Amazon is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, financial automation, and project management.
- Prior experience in revenue management, financial forecasting, and financial strategy execution.
