We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Technical Project Manager with a strong background in data center operations who will be responsible for the program management of several strategic initiatives at RapidScale. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that cross-functional programs align with organizational objectives, are executed efficiently, and deliver measurable results. You will play a key role in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and driving operational excellence across diverse internal projects, including.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of critical strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Engineers and Architects, fostering collaboration, professional development, and accountability.
  • Program Governance: Develop and implement program management best practices, tools, and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across initiatives.
  • Lead and Manage: technical, strategic and data center projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget .
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to maintain program momentum and integrity.
  • Resource Allocation: Optimize resource planning and allocation across programs to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of organizational capabilities.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), provide regular updates to leadership, and leverage data insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, ensuring financial alignment and effective use of resources.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations: to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned


Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Expertise in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Data Center migrations experience
  • Proficient using a project management tool, preferably Project Insight.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Must be an analytical thinker to understand organizational challenges and provide or guide others to provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Understands organizational change management and can be an empathetic leader when needed.
  • Exceptional time management skills.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of data center, security and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.


USD 131,600.00 - 219,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $131,600.00 - $219,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
