We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Privacy Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, and a proven track record of advising on complex privacy issues. This role involves providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws, and managing privacy-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments.
  • Advise on data breaches and manage incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into business processes and projects.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in privacy laws and regulations, and update company policies accordingly.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs on privacy and data protection for employees.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified lawyer
  • In-depth knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and others
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
