Purpose

  • Provide support, perform legal and business research, and assist attorneys in the Legal Department. Administer other Legal Department tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and finalize documents.
  • Provide general legal support as required.
  • Analyze and prepare the gathering of information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence that is necessary to respond to discovery and assist attorney(s) with preparing responses.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews of potential witnesses in litigation.
  • Handle and organize confidential and/or sensitive company information.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to resolve routine legal issues.
  • Perform legal research and analyses.
  • Provide administrative support.

Requirements

Minimum

  • Two-year degree and paralegal certificate
  • 5 years’ experience:  legal support

Preferred

  • Four-year degree:  Business, English, or Pre-Law
  • 5-10 years’ experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of legal concepts, corporate and employment law
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $64,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
