Senior Java Software Engineer (Affiliates Integrations)

The Position

KAYAK is seeking a skilled senior JAVA software engineer to join our Affiliates Integrations team. We have a wide range of products targeted for our affiliates, ranging from deep links and search widgets to APIs. All of these products are powered by the same search engines that provide search results for millions of KAYAK’s users everyday. The Affiliate Integration team is responsible for maintaining and improving these products, handling and supporting existing and new integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Build new features and products for our affiliates

• Maintain and enhance existing APIs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration

• Support existing affiliate integrations

Requirements:

• 4+ years Java experience

• Strong programming fundamentals

• Strong knowledge of OOP patterns and API design

• Demonstrated passion for writing clean code and commitment to quality and unit testing

• Spring framework knowledge

• Experience with storage/query systems like MySQL, Elasticsearch

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Fluent English communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a hybrid working model, working at least three office days per week

Compensation

Salary consists of three parts:

Base part: 3333 EUR to 6600 EUR gross monthly.

Bonus part: 

• significant yearly bonuses, approx 10 percent annual salary;
• Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20.000 USD (before taxes) with possibility to get it every year.

The salary range provided is not final and will be discussed during the process based on your skills and experience.
