Senior IT Support Engineer

Linklaters, LLP seeks Senior IT Support Engineer in New York, NY to provide 1st and 2nd line support for all end user devices and applications used within the firm, such as MS Office suite, conferencing and collaboration systems, Document Management System and all end user devices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: delivering end-user hardware support, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices across Windows and Apple iOS platforms to troubleshoot, repair, and liaise with vendors; working with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive, mobile device management (MDM) solutions including Microsoft Intune, and remote support tools SCCM and Bomgar; providing support and management for AV and virtual meeting technologies; working with Cisco and Crestron platforms and virtual meeting platforms including WebEx, Zoom, and MS Teams to support client and internal meetings and events; troubleshooting IT issues and supporting user base in the legal sector through the maintenance of Document Management Systems (DMS), iManage and NetDocs, time tracking, billing software, Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Communication and Collaboration Platforms and Secure File Sharing and Collaboration Tools; working with ServiceNow platform for IT support operations, including ticket management, asset tracking, dashboard creation for team metrics, and incident reporting; and ensuring adherence to cybersecurity policies by conducting security updates and patch management across servers, operating systems, databases, and applications. 10% domestic travel is required. In the alternative, employer will accept a JD or foreign equivalent and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible. When not telecommuting, must report to worksite.

The base salary range offered for this role will be between $90,000 to $100,000 per year, 40 hours/week and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, as well as the needs of the firm. The total compensation package for this position may include discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
