We are looking for an experienced (Senior) IT Project Manager to join our team, taking the lead on major IT projects including system migrations, application integrations, and enterprise-wide technology upgrades. This role requires a project manager with strong organizational skills and the ability to oversee complex IT projects end-to-end. While primarily focusing on project management (70-80%), this individual will also leverage their technical expertise (20-30%) to support system migrations and integrations, including contributing to technical discussions. As part of our IT PMO, the Sr. IT Project Manager will later transition to other key IT projects across various business areas.  

You will join our IT Project and Demand office Team which forms a part of the Business and Information Technology department. This team focuses on driving the delivery of successful IT projects and managing varied business demands / initiatives working in close collaborations with HR, Sales, Marketing, Infosec, Customer Operations and other corporate functions. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for the IT project. Establish clear project goals, milestones, and performance metrics. 
  • Collaborate with different business and technical teams to ensure alignment on goals and plans and seamless communication across different teams.  
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.  
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as required for system integrations, project deliverables, and troubleshooting during different project phases. 
  • Facilitate decision-making and resolve any conflicts related to project scope or execution. 
  • Proficiency in identifying risks, assessing their impact and developing mitigation strategies.  
  • Oversee the change management process including communication and user training strategies. You’ll work with our experts from the communication team. 
  • Conduct post-implementation evaluations to assess project / milestone success and areas for improvement. 
  • Ensure and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk logs, and stakeholder communication records. 
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership and different stakeholders' groups to showcase project status, key achievements, and areas requiring attention. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.  
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with enterprise system migration projects.  
  • Strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources;  
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle including Agile methodologies and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, or Asana). 
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and system migration practices.  
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with a track record of effective internal and external stakeholder engagement. 
  • Ability to manage a large project and adapt to changing priorities.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred. 
  • Previous Experience with planning and implementation of HRIS migration Projects would be an asset.
