We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Financial Analyst with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the budget and finance management space. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, PR/PO creation, invoice confirmations and overall budget tracking and reporting support for Lexmark IT. Particular focus will be on ensuring effective financial planning, cost management, and performance monitoring of IT Operations expenses, cloud initiatives, and technology investments. This individual will collaborate with IT leaders, finance teams, and other departments to analyze IT expenditures, assess financial impact, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for IT.
- Partner with IT leadership to align financial strategies with departmental goals and objectives.
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast and provide actionable insights.
- Purchase Order (PO) creation and management
Cost Management & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on IT spending, including hardware, software, cloud services, and infrastructure costs.
- Develop financial models to assess the cost-effectiveness and ROI of IT projects and investments.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies within IT services and resources.
- Work with procurement teams to evaluate and negotiate IT contracts, ensuring optimal cost management.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to IT and finance leadership, summarizing key insights and trends.
- Analyze financial performance against benchmarks, KPIs, and industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and prepare financial presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
IT Project & Investment Support
- Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to assess financial impacts of IT initiatives, including capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenditures (OpEx).
- Monitor the financial health of IT projects, ensuring they stay within budget and meet financial objectives.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new technology investments and provide recommendations based on strategic priorities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and compliance standards within the IT department.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to mitigate financial risks related to technology investments.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a financial partner to IT leaders and stakeholders, providing support on financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior financial analysts, providing oversight and professional development.

- Proven experience managing large-scale IT budgets and supporting complex technology initiatives.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Ariba, Power BI, SAP, etc…).
- Familiarity with IT cost structures and technology project financials.
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) best practices in the context of IT.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial governance and compliance in technology operations.
Certifications (Preferred but not Required):
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Years of Experience in this Field:
- 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 3 years focused on IT or technology financial management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT budgets and supporting complex technology initiatives
