About the Role
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst in the Supply Chain Planning area to assist in the development and implementation of solutions in the global SAP SCP / APO / IBP environment.
The position is with Essity’s Global IT Services, which is part of our Global Operational Services business unit, which provides shared services to the rest of the Essity organization and is key to driving operational efficiencies across the company.
The position will preferably be in Ismaning/Munich (Germany). Other Essity locations such as Hamburg (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden) or Lisbon (Portugal).

What You Will Do

Drive breakdown of business requirements, by conducting workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources based on standard templates

Propose and drive implementation of system improvements

Ensure close collaboration and communication with all stakeholders

Provide expertise and guidance in Supply Chain Planning / APO / IBP to others and actively share best practices

Collaborate with and coordinate external resources

Continuously review and edit requirements, specifications and recommendations related to a proposed solution

Work with the project manager, architects and developers to define metrics and performance goals for the solution

Arrange training and conduct end user training
Who You Are
-
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree, preferably in an IT-related field

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning

Solid understanding of SAP solutions in the Planning area (Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, IBP)
-
Strong interpersonal skills combined with very good written and verbal communication skills in English, additional language(s) skills would be beneficial

Good knowledge in Agile or Hybrid implementation methodology would be a plus
-
Ability to travel approx. 15%
