For the last 100+ years our BE teams have been supporting our customers in 4 main areas: Building & Construction, Fire Safety & Security, Building Quality & Compliance and Personal Protective Equipment.
We are presenting you a superb opportunity to join our wonderful BE team! Reporting to our BE Sales Manager Europe, the Senior Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling our TIC services as well as strengthening the relationship with our key customers in dedicated regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year.
  • Interfaces between customer and UL delivery teams during sales that require additional technical expertise as it relates to highly technical Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services.
  • Communicates with customers primarily remotely (video, phone, email) to promote and sell specialty TIC products / services; travel as needed (up to 20%) for proactive outreach to highest-potential customers.
  • Leads or supports sales for assigned specialty TIC product/service line(s) in collaboration and at the direction of account owners.
  • Proactively seeks and actions on opportunities to sell specialty product / services into highest potential accounts in their assigned portfolio.
  • Works on discovery and opportunity identification for assigned specialty products / services.
  • Works closely with account managers (e.g., Sales Representatives aligned to Commercial accounts, KAMs serving Global accounts in sub-scale geographies) to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for specialty products / services, responsible for articulating value proposition.
  • Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support sales opportunities of assigned specialty products / services.
  • Works under minimal guidance, makes connections and builds trusted advisor status with relevant account owners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated working experience in sales with a strong account management capability.
  • Experience in selling TIC services or similar, complex services.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Build Environment (fire detection & suppression, building materials, security systems, fire alarm systems, PPE etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage and sell into large, diverse accounts, both individually and with the assistance of supporting personnel.
  • Strong command of German and English is a must.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools would be a plus.
  • Open-minded, commercial person who enjoys traveling and is eager to learn.
  • Business acumen, flexibility and ability to bring new ideas and solutions.
