The Opportunity:
An IGA with Java experience in our team is a crucial part of Simeio.
This role will let you work on some of our biggest and most interesting projects with clients from across the globe.
You’ll also work in parallel with other IGA tool as part of a team on larger implementations or application onboarding projects.

The Role:
As a IGA Consultant, your role will involve acting as a lead, developing and implementing high-quality projects and solutions for our customers.
You will be able to deliver IGA projects to a very high standard and be able to influence both internal and client-side stakeholders as part of multiple client engagement teams that assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
- IGA Solution Implementation & Management:
- Lead the implementation of IGA solutions, including user identity and access lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), entitlement management, and policy enforcement.
- Analyse and define business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for the IGA solution.
- Configure and customize IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, etc.) according to client needs.
- Design and implement identity management workflows, access request processes, and automated provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Conduct system integrations with various external applications (e.g., HR systems, Active Directory, Cloud platforms, etc.).
- Java Development & Customization:
- Develop and implement Java-based solutions to support and extend the capabilities of the IGA system.
- Build custom connectors and integrations between IGA solutions and enterprise applications using Java-based frameworks and libraries.
- Write, test, and maintain Java code to ensure smooth integration and functionality across multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java-based integrations and components.
- Client Interaction & Consultancy:
- Work closely with clients to understand their IGA requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices for identity governance and security.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to educate clients on IGA concepts, tools, and security best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for IGA solutions, assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and upgrades.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure that IGA solutions adhere to relevant security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce access policies, compliance checks, and audit requirements.
- Project Leadership:
- Manage multiple IGA projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations.
- Mentor junior consultants and developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise in IGA and Java development.
Key Skills:
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) consulting or implementation.
- Strong experience (5+ years) in Java development, particularly for backend and integration solutions.
- Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts, such as RBAC, user lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization.
- Familiarity with IGA tools and platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, or similar.
- Proficient in Java, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and integration techniques for third-party systems.
- Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.), and Cloud Identity Management.
- Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
