Reporting directly to the HR Manager onsite at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Hungryman, and more, you will be responsible for human resources, employee relations and labor relations at our site of approximately 800 employees. You will oversee several areas of human resources such as, recruiting, labor relations, training, EEO/AAP, benefits, employee relations, compensation and continuous improvement. Assist top management in implementation of talent and HR activities and administration of existing programs following procedures including EEO compliance.
How Will You Affect our Business?
- Provide direction and counsel regarding human resources aspects of plant operations
- Manage employee relations through issue resolution phase
- Lead talent management, succession planning, organizational development and organizational effectiveness processes
- Handle all phases of the staffing process including requisition, selection and hiring
- Lead in the implementation and auditing of procedures
- Analyze development needs. Lead the development and administration of training programs
- Manage regulatory compliance efforts.
- Lead culture in assessment processes and provides direction on implementation of action plans
- Lead year-end processes including performance management and salary planning
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Do You Have What it Takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field
- 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills
- Demonstrated experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development
- Experience with Workday, UKG or other HRIS
- Experience leading teams

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
