Job Description
You will work closely with the Warsaw Hub Lead, Country Head of HR, HRBPs and key relevant stakeholders to deliver people priorities aligned to the firm's People and Talent Strategy. You will also work with your wider HR team where required to ensure that you deliver consistent, highly efficient people priorities and processes as well as a high-level employee experience across the local office.
You will act as a trusted advisor on all aspects of local specialist HR topics for your office, along with an oversight of compensation & benefits (including payroll) and with subject matter expertise in local employment law and regulatory matters.
What you will do:
Policies and Processes
- Ensure all standard processes are administered efficiently, fairly, consistently and within agreed timescales (i.e. probation periods, references, visa documentation, exit documentation). Ensure all employee related policies are communicated and implemented consistently e.g. absence management, maternity, disciplinary.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation (laws, regulations, contracts etc.); reviewing regularly all legal and regulatory changes; work closely with the compliance team on the drafting of new local policies and/or updating existing ones.
- Ensure the ongoing transition of end-to-end HR business processes to Global Service Delivery (GSD) (and highlight further opportunities to deliver a seamless HR experience to key stakeholders); lead automation and process improvement efforts to streamline operations
- Oversee the on- and offboarding of employees in close collaboration with GSD teams.
- Establish and maintain a strong partnership with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
People and Talent Strategy
- Contribute to the development and deployment of all global and regional HR projects.
- Foster a positive organisational culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with Learning and Development Team on training and development programmes.
- Proactively build knowledge and understanding of the key inclusion pillars and strategy.
- Drive a culture of inclusion and diversity and empower business leaders and Partners to do the same. Assist with the development and implementation of D&I action plans.
Talent Acquisition (TA)
- Lead the on-boarding and integration programming for all new joiners in collaboration with GSD teams.
Employee Relations
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders including HR BP team on employee relation matters as well as oversee all employee relations and administration, including terminations.
- Instruct and/or strongly influence key stakeholders including HR BP team on sensitive ER issues, and on the appropriate approach to resolve conflict.
- Works with key stakeholders including HR BP team to prepare scripts for ER related conversations including exits.
Global Mobility
- Act as primary contact for all international secondments, working with the Global Mobility team, relevant HR Business Partners and external tax advisors where required. Manage the administration and preparation of international secondments including procuring suitable accommodation, completing applicable visa and other immigration formalities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Support the year end compensation process as well as provide advice on local compensation and benefits queries.
- Provide HR payroll expertise in support of and in collaboration with the payroll team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for health and life assurance, in charge of the relationship with the external provider and updating contracts accordingly; managing long-term sickness matters and supervising social security claims procedures and the annual disability declarations.

Skills & Experience
You will have a proven track record of delivering best practice HR results,
You will have flexible and effective communication skills, and the ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships, using appropriate influencing skills where appropriate.
You will have the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and have strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
You will have strong problem-solving skills and contribute to a positive learning environment.
You will be an excellent team-player with the ability to work with multiple teams across the global Firm and within a highly dynamic matrix organisation.
You will have demonstrable experience (at least 7 years) in a similar role, ideally in the legal or other professional services sector and in an international environment.
You will have expertise in Polish employment law
You will have proficiency in English language (in addition to the language(s) spoken in the office where you are located).
Qualifications
Graduate-level qualification are desirable
