Responsible for streamlining a broad set of human resources initiatives aligning with project-based workflows. The Senior HR Operations Specialist will oversee HR projects such as mergers & acquisition, employee lifecycle programs to include performance management and change management communications. This role demands exceptional organizational abilities, strategic and tactical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of HR’s objectives. The position will collaborate closely with HR leadership, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Communications, Finance, and Technology to align HR Strategic goals with daily operations that drive HR initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for organizing from a People and Culture perspective the M&A process from LOI through due diligence to post-close integrations.
- Manage projects across workstreams and team members including Corporate Development, CoEs, Legal, Technology and Finance
- Manage employee lifecycle projects, including performance management
- Evaluate project effectiveness and provide data-driven insights
- Drive continuous improvement activities to streamline and drive efficiencies
- Manage HR-specific special projects
- Oversee HR-vendor relationships
- Identify and implement tech-oriented process enhancement solutions
- Manage risks in HR processes, strategies, and projects
- Develop and prioritize work plans
- Create and implement change communications and training strategies for process changes
- Foster collaboration within and outside HR functions
- Mentoring and train staff
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Analyst, Project Management, or a similar field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as an HR Project Manager within insurance financial services industries required.
