Join MetLife's Agile Enablement global delivery network as part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing agile practices across the organization. This team is responsible for supporting the maturation of agile teams, scaling them into teams of teams (ARTs), and driving transformational change. The team collaborates closely with various departments, including Product Owners, Developers, and other Delivery professionals, to model effective agile delivery techniques and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
The Opportunity:
The Agile Enablement Team Level Delivery Coach is responsible for engaging directly with Product Owners, Developers, and other Delivery professionals to model effective agile delivery techniques. This position is needed to drive transformational change and foster collaboration among team members, contributing to the purpose of MetLife by enhancing team performance and promoting agile methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct assessments, implement Lean, Agile, and DevOps best practices, and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions. The role offers the chance to mentor team members, facilitate workshops, and drive organizational change, making a significant impact on the company's agile transformation journey.
Success in this role requires strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a strategic mindset. The Agile Enablement Team Level Delivery Coach is responsible for supporting the maturation of agile teams and helping scale them into teams of teams (ARTs). You'll collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maturation of agile teams and help scale them into teams of teams (ARTs).
  • Create engaging presentations and training sessions to promote agile methodologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of Lean, Agile, and DevOps best practices.
  • Manage the use of agile lifecycle management tools to provide insights and improve team dynamics.
  • Develop metrics to measure and enhance agile practices, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate workshops that drive alignment between business and technology stakeholders.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in agile software delivery and/or DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience in key roles on agile teams, demonstrating a strong energy for impact.
  • Proficiency with agile lifecycle management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Systems-thinking and the ability to work cross-functionally, navigating complexity effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on engaging and inspiring others.


Preferred:

  • Active participation in agile communities of practice, including attending conferences and meetups.
  • Inventive thinking and the ability to envision new possibilities that drive agile transformation.
  • A visionary mindset, energized by the opportunity to challenge the status quo and explore inventive approaches.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify patterns and trends, bringing focus and clarity to agile practices.
  • Hands-on mentoring experience, demonstrating best practices in agile delivery.
  • A focus on driving organizational change, improving processes, and fostering a culture of agility.
