We are now looking for a full-time Senior Graphics Engineer to join our RELEX family in Helsinki. You’ll join a Graphics Engineering team of 3 people, who will help you succeed in your new role.

In RELEX Store, we are building a CAD tool for retailers to design and analyze their store layouts, product placements and processes. We have two application areas that require computer graphics skills: floor-planning and planogramming. 

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll become part of the graphics team that will focus on the following areas:

• Improving and extending the capabilities of the render engine
• Implementing graphical features
• Improve user interaction between the application UI and 3D scene
• Contributing to the design of the render pipeline and architecture
• Working in a small platform team where you will interact with two other product teams (Floorplan and Planogram)
• Fixing bugs, refactoring existing code, and proposing architectural improvements for overall quality

Some of our current tech stack is as follows:

• C#/.NET
• TypeScript and Three.js
• Azure

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Knowledge or interest in building a CAD tool
• Insight on concurrency, performance and data modelling

What we consider as an advantage:

Experience with:

• Building multi-user persistent graphical software that runs on browser or with client/server model over the wire
• Solving rendering problems such as font rendering, text layout, color & transparency algorithms, instanced rendering, etc.
• Basic knowledge of React
• Building CAD software
• Working with DWG files
• Microservices and distributed computing
• Data modeling and database transactions
