Senior Generative AI Data Scientist (f/m/d)

As a Senior GenAI Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative GenAI solutions, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, to as well as collaborating with other data science teams within the Dennemeyer group. 
Your role will involve close cooperation with business line leads, product managers, and development teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and the achievement of high-quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML, GenAI, and NLP models for AI/ML pipelines, covering data ingestion, preprocessing, search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic Models, model fine-tuning, and prompt engineering, ensuring alignment with business requirements

• Create and oversee the architecture and the infrastructure for GenAI products, such as search interfaces, bots, and content creators, optimizing model performance to meet product goals. 

• Closely collaborate with the whole X-Labs team, share experience, and mentor junior team members 

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand challenges, assist in GenAI solution implementation, and guide them through production paths

• Lead initiatives, identify trends, assess new AI tools and methodologies, and drive innovation to enhance team performance and business value

• Stay updated on LLM developments, improve language model training, and optimize model capabilities

• Create best practice guides, tutorials, and presentations for technical and business stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive documentation of ML processes
   

Your Profile

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics. 

• At least 5 years of working experience in data science with a focus on GenAI and Natural Language Processing, Large Langue Models techniques for analyzing large, unstructured data (e.g., word embeddings)  

• Strong knowledge in understanding of machine learning frameworks and tooling (e.g., Hugging Face), developer tools (e.g., GIT) and modern deployment architecture (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes

• Proficiency in building advanced workflows such as retrieval augmented generation, model chaining, dynamic prompting, PEFT/SFT, etc., using Langchain and similar tools.

• Hands-on experience with Python and relevant machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).

• Experience in hosting and deploying models on a public cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS).

• Strong understanding of APIs and software integration.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to technical and non-technical audiences, including stakeholders on the management level, verbally and visually, to create understanding, engagement, and buy-in

• Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and oral
