Senior Lead Functional Architect for OrderAbout the role

As Senior Lead Functional Architect, you would be the primary functional and non-functional contact for Nevio covering Order-related products handled within the division for complex and cross functional/division solutions analysis and recommendation. This includes Order Management, Order Accounting, Order Integrity, as well as all the Big Data platform needs linked to Order.

About your responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design of solutions within Order.
• Contribute to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Business Domain level and beyond.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and customer constraints. Combine focus on customer expectations and integration of Amadeus strategy for any proposal.
• Provide functional expertise to enable the development of a clear strategic direction supporting the optimal usage of Amadeus business capabilities.
• Participate in industry trends related studies keeping in mind competition, drivers for the company and customer strategy.
• Facilitate studies, analyze large cross functional requirements, and other complex cross-organization, cross-functional solutions by interacting with all stakeholders, including architects, technical and functional experts, delivery teams.
• Define and promote Amadeus vision and strategy.
• Support top management in understanding the implications of new Industry trends to maintain and increase competitive advantage or minimize costs and risks.
• Identify new business capabilities and proof of concept opportunities.
• Identify potential areas of improvement that will conduct to a project proposal. Build the project proposal (functional architecture, budget) and get buy-in from different stakeholders.
• Act as engineering responsible to support PM/epic owner activities throughout the assessment phase.
• Communicate progress on solutions and agreements at any stage of the mission within the core team.
• Works autonomously, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Provides leadership and collaborates with other leaders to foster a culture of innovation.

About our ideal candidate

• Extensive experience in and understanding of PSS (Passenger Service Systems) including reservation, ticketing, etc.
• At least 3 years as a Functional Architect.
• Comfortable working with external, Enterprise-level customers (e.g., existing customers, Requests for Proposals [RFPs], etc.).
• Accurate, concise, and clear communication, ability to explain complex topics, and adapt communication when needed.
• Fluent in English.
