Department OverviewMotorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (F.O.C.) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. It is a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will be valued and where you will do some of the best work of your life.
Global Financial Systems Support is in charge of financial systems maintenance and enhancement to drive efficiencies and assist in system/process changes for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
-
Ownership of Accounts Receivable (AR) Oracle module
-
Collaborate with and support Account Receivable team with their daily needs and requests
-
Support month end close activities from system perspective
-
Collaborate with IT teams to fix system issues
-
Control the issues/IT tickets in particular financial stream and actively support their resolution
Act as coordinator for system issues and or projects related to particular financial stream and actively support communication between the business and IT to ensure quick resolution -
Support development, planning and execution of system enhancements
-
Collaborate with Global Process Owners and Finance system Track Leads to implement process change for all finance activities as related to system

Work with all levels of finance and internal/external partners

Actively representing GFSS as a Track Lead on the Project related meetings

Understand current and future process flows
-
Understand Business needs and system capabilities
-
Document Customer requirements
-
Assist IT as needed during the build phase
-
Developing end executing the testing scenarios/scripts
-
Oracle System configuration as needed
-
Implements mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganization activities in Oracle R12/Oracle Cloud
-
Assist Finance Team to define and implement process or system changes to optimize system operation
-
Assist on complex ad-hoc assignments
Basic Requirements
Requirements:
-
3+ years relevant work experience with ERP systems (preferred Oracle)
-
Oracle Finance module knowledge (Accounting, Fixed Asset, Account Receivable preferred)
-
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or IT or similar
-
SQL basics
-
Excellent English skills
-
General understanding of Finance/Accounting basics
-
Critical attention to detail and accuracy
