Department OverviewMotorola Solutions Finance Shared Service Center is a department of Motorola in Kraków which gives you an opportunity to participate in a setup of the new organization. The center is a part of our global network of Finance Shared Service Centers which provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the US region. Job Description

  • Processing of Journal entries related to intercompany transactions 

  • Reconciliation of intercompany balance sheet accounts

  • Monitoring, analysis and clear out of balances for global I/C balances

  • Preparing of documentation for I/C cash transfers

  • Preparing audit schedules related to I/C and assist the auditors in their inquiries

  • Creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures and forms for the recordation of and intercompany

  • Recording acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system

  • Investigating the potential obsolescence of intercompany

  • Conduct analyses related to intercompany requested by management

  • Redesigning and improving existing FOC processes to increase productivity while maintaining quality and controls

  • Ensuring documentation of all processes is in place

  • Highlighting potential issues to management team's attention

  • Other ad hoc tasks as determined by the Manager/Team Lead


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Economy / Finance / Accounting

  • Excellent English & Polish language verbal and written communication skills required. Other languages as an advantage.

  • Strong analytical / problem solving, and influencing skills required.

  • Able to work under pressure and deal with various organizations/ cultures

  • PC Skills are required- Windows, Word, Excel, Google package

  • Oracle Financial Systems experience a distinct advantage

  • Experience in quality or cycle time improvement efforts is a plus
