ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an analyst to join our finance team and help us create a more scalable process to manage and optimize our go-to-market costs while providing insight into revenue. You will collect, analyze, and report on using various software tools such as Acumatica, Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, and Excel. You will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve our profitability and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data and assumptions to build accurate and detailed forecasts and improve business performance.
- Monitor actual vs. forecasted performance, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance systems teams to enhance financial data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting standards related to financial reporting.
- Analyze customer acquisition costs (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), and other unit economics to guide investment decisions
- Own Adaptive Planning system processes, updates, and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 1-4 years of FP&A experience
- Proficient in using Adaptive Planning, ERP software (Acumatica or other), Google Sheets/Slides/Docs/Gmail, and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting standards and methods
- Curious, hard-working, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
