Accounting Intern

Job Description:

This is a paid 12-week summer internship position from May 12 - August 1, 2025.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Accounting Intern to join our Utah team. In this role, you will assist with completing our monthly revenue and accounting close, monthly reporting, and other routine procedures and ad-hoc requests in a timely and accurate manner. We are looking for someone who is excited about learning various accounting tasks and responsibilities, and who finds satisfaction in being challenged by their work each day. You should be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and committed to producing excellent work. Strong interpersonal communication skills are also essential.

What you’ll do:

• Review revenue contracts in accordance with ASC 606

• Prepare manual revenue journal entries

• Perform monthly reporting tasks

• Contribute to the month-end close process

• Learn and utilize various accounting systems

• Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analysis as needed

Experience you’ll bring:

• Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in finance or accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with financial systems is a plus

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.

The rate for this role is $20.00 USD per hour. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
