We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis to support NVIDIA’s Software Engineering organization.
As part of NVIDIA’s Software Engineering Finance organization, your focus will be supporting NVIDIA’s Infrastructure Planning and Process (IPP) organization. IPP focuses on infrastructure scale in both Datacenter and Lab, Product TTM, and developer efficiency. Your overarching responsibilities will be to build and maintain a strong, collaborative partnership with Engineering leaders to strategically manage the financial planning and analysis for one of NVIDIA’s largest organizations. This is a highly visible role for an energetic individual who can function in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment, with excellent communication skills.
What you’ll be doing:

Build strong partnerships with Engineering leaders to strategically manage the global investments for the IPP organization to ensure that spend is aligned to key objectives and initiatives. investments include hardware and software infrastructure, contractors, tools, and licenses.

Build a thorough knowledge base of the datacenter industry and the company to provide analyses of investments to drive insights, cost optimizing alternatives, rationalize project priorities, and drive solutions with the business.

Build and maintain a thorough understanding of NVIDIA products and roadmap, develop models to forecast investment requirements, and create business metrics that are insightful and actionable to improve the Company’s performance.

Forecast Engineering investments, operating and capital expenditures, and provide analyses of quarterly variances to forecasts with risks and opportunities.

Support Corporate Finance and Accounting in the close process to ensure proper accounting treatment.
What we need to see:
-
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience), or Engineering degree with a MBA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

8+ years’ experience in FP&A, with experience in analysis, forecasting, and modeling.

2+ years managing PowerBI Business Intelligence dashboards.

Deep understanding of industry technology, cost structure and market dynamics in areas related to NVIDIA’s products, research, and development.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for this highly visible role which allows to interface effectively with both Finance and the Engineering team.

Strong analytical skills and advanced financial modeling techniques, with ability to build and convey business insight. Experience with SAP, BPC, and visualization tools are a plus.

Understanding of financial processes in accounting, tax, and treasury to identify and inform of relevant matters.

Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Ability to work independently and in teams to identify and solve problems collectively.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with analytical bias.

SAP ECC, S4 and BPC, PowerBI or SQL skills.

Exemplary communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust at all levels within the Company.

The base salary range is 120,000 USD - 195,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
