Who We Are

The Finance & Strategy team works hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to support HopSkipDrive’s growth, innovation and strategic initiatives. It's a highly impactful team that provides comprehensive financial insight into the business through functional business partnering, annual and long-term financial planning, KPI development, and business strategy and analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to learn in a fast-paced environment and own high-priority projects.

  • Support essential elements of HopSkipDrive’s strategic planning process, including building and maintaining the long range plan, annual plan and rolling forecasts
  • Work closely with business and functional leaders to enhance forecasting and financial reporting to drive insights and change, providing both KPI and financial updates to ensure the organization delivers on plans
  • Prepare analyses that support growth such as evaluating strategic investments and initiatives by performing ROI analyses, scenario planning, and pricing strategy by market and product
  • Evaluate financial results and analyze/interpret data to help drive decision making across the business and improve financial and operational strategy
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results and communicate results to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Identify and assist with initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting processes and methodologies

Who You Are


As Senior Financial Analyst on the Finance & Strategy team, you’ll support key work streams that directly impact short-term and long-term company objectives. You’ll act as a financial and strategic thought partner to HopSkipDrive’s core business teams, building and maintaining financial models to deliver business analysis and insights to help drive high-impact strategic decisions. This role requires superior Excel modeling and analytical skills, as well as an outstanding ability to collaborate across a diverse range of stakeholders.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of analytical experience in investment banking, management consulting or private equity and/or a corporate development, strategy or financial planning & analysis role at a leading technology company
  • Strong financial skill set and grasp of corporate finance fundamentals, including experience with forecasting and business plan analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including demonstrated experience in developing complex financial models from scratch
  • Excellent ability to build and interpret information from large and varied data sets
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills, particularly the ability to summarize analysis and present them concisely to a range of stakeholders, including executives
  • Detail oriented and highly organized self-starter, with the ability to track overlapping tasks and assignments, while managing frequent priority changes
  • A proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with business partners

HopSkipDrive is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Los Angeles, CA is $100,000 - $120,000. This position is a hybrid role (remote and in-office) based in Los Angeles. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
